The 2010 edition of the ARM Climate Research Facility Annual Report is currently available online. The report contains an overview of the ARM Facility, along with highlights of featured field campaigns, key research results, and infrastructure achievements. Accomplishments discussed in the report reflect the program’s success in improving climate models and providing advanced scientific capabilities for the interdisciplinary study of global climate change. The report also includes information about 2010 field campaigns and publications.

Three new brochures are also available, describing ARM’s Research Sites, Mobile Facility, and Aerial Facility. These eight-page full-color brochures provide information about sites, baseline instrumentation, capabilities, and examples of past field campaigns.

The newly updated ARM Education and Outreach Resources fact sheet discusses the ARM Education and Outreach website, which contains resources for students and teachers, such as lesson plans, climate activities, and newsletters. It also describes ARM’s community outreach efforts—participation in education events throughout the year and computer-based kiosks hosted in Alaska, Australia, Nauru, and Papua New Guinea.

ARM’s 2011 Calendar contains pictures of the three permanent sites; the STORMVEX campaign, currently taking place in Colorado; and the CARES campaign, which took place in June 2010 in California. It also lists several important conferences taking place in 2010.
