Sandia National Laboratories Seeks Atmospheric/Climate Modeling Postdoctoral Appointee

Sandia National Laboratories, in Albuquerque, NM, is currently recruiting a postdoctoral research associate to work on projects related to high-resolution global earth system models and high-resolution regional or large-eddy simulations (LES). We are interested in developing and using these models to improve our understanding of atmospheric processes in the Arctic. The selected candidates will work with the Sandia scientists on one or more of the following projects:

1) Improving the method of comparison of data from the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Climate Research Facility (https://www.arm.gov/) to LES and global atmospheric models; or

2) Developing a variable high-resolution global atmospheric model.
