ARM Facility Seeks Instrument Mentor for APS Spectrometer


ARM LogoThe ARM Climate Research Facility is seeking an expert to be the lead instrument mentor for the Aerodynamic Particle Sizer 3321, or APS spectrometer, that provides high-resolution, real-time aerodynamic measurements of particles from 0.5 to 20 microns. The instrument will initially be operated in the ARM Aerosol Observing System for the ARM Southern Great Plains site. Although, this instrument is planned for installation at other ARM sites and mobile facilities. The APS spectrometer has already been procured and has completed acceptance testing.

  • Brief description of your experience with this instrument or instruments similar to the APS
  • Brief plan on how you would perform the duties as lead mentor, identifying others that might assist you in mentor tasks
  • Estimate of your fully burdened cost for your effort and those that might assist you.
